I have been running for approximately 5 years.  I was looking for a way to lose some of my post baby weight, and was challenged to run my first 5k and have been hooked ever since.

2) Where are some of your favorite places to run?

I really enjoy running where there is a change of scenery.  I live in Berlin, and although I run there all the time, I try to switch things up a by taking different roads, or even reversing my route.

3) What is your “fuel” of choice (aka pre/post workout meals, supplements, etc)? What are your favorite recovery foods after running?

I don’t really have any favorites.  Honestly, I get in moods, so it switches often...

1) How long have you been a runner and what sparked your interest to begin running?

I have been running for around 3 years now. My interest began when I was finishing up my college swimming career. I wanted something that was going to keep me busy, training for something and keep in shape. That is when I decided to sign up for my first half marathon and I have been running ever since.

2) Where are some of your favorite places to run?

My absolute favorite place to run is on the beach no shoes by the water.

1)  How long have you been a runner and what sparked your interest to begin running?

I ran track in high school and just kept doing it off and on through the years.

2)  Where are some of your favorite places to run?

I love to run on the beach, there is nothing like smelling the salt water and listening to the waves on an early morning run.

3)  What is your “fuel” of choice (aka pre/post workout meals, supplements, etc.)? What are your favorite recovery foods after running?

This is a new thing for me as I have been experiencing headaches after a run. So I was told to try apples and peanut butter before. Afterwards, I usually have a big glass of chocolate milk.

1) How long have you been a runner and what sparked your interest to begin running?

I have been running all my life in various sports. In high school I was on the cross country team. 🙂 Then I had a long hiatus of inactivity and I am now slowly getting back into the running fun.

2) Where are some of your favorite places to run?

I love to walk the beach, the Boardwalk in the Fall/Spring, and I love the meet ups with my fellow OCRC friends.

3 years. I started to get myself in better shape, and kept running because I found that I enjoyed it.

2) Where are some of your favorite places to run?

I have been running for about 5 +/- years. Before this I never ran (even in high school). Friends that I met in a gym really inspired me to run. They cheered me and helped me get through the mental anguish that I felt during longer runs. Soon we started meeting once a week to run together and then it became twice a week!! I started running very small amounts in October 2013. I mentioned to Lauren Brueckner that

I was thinking of doing the Winterfest of Lights 5K and she convinced me to do the Ravens

vs. Steelers 5k. I ran the 5k and caught the running bug. Afterwards, I mentioned the half marathon and with much support, began training.

I started running about 1997. My Dad had been running a bit around our neighborhood

a few days a week and I wanted to join in. I was 16 yrs. old. A few years later, I fell out of
